Chocolate Ganache Cupcakes Recipe!

School's over for me so it's time to indulge on trying recipes for summer! Today I tried this beautiful and moist chocolate ganache recipe! It sounds like a fancy and complicated treat but honestly speaking, it's one of the simplest cupcake recipes to make out there. Called my friend Josette to help me out in the kitchen so that it's more fun to make this recipe! Let's do this!

For the chocolate cupcakes:

* 1 1/3 cups all purpose flour
* 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
* 2 teaspoons baking powder
* 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
* 1/8 teaspoon salt
* 3 tablespoons butter, softened
* 1 1/2 cups white sugar
* 2 eggs
* 3/4 tablespoons vanilla extract
* 1 cup of milk

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line your muffin pan with cupcake liners.
2. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder, and salt. Whisk together then set aside.
3. In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition then stir in vanilla extract.
4. Add the flour mixture alternately with the milk. Beat until well combined.
5. Fill cupcake liners 3/4 full.
6. Bake for 15-17 minutes in the oven or when a toothpick inserted to cupcake comes out clean. Then let it cool.

For the chocolate ganache:

* 1 cup heavy cream
* 1 cup chopped semi sweet chocolates/chocolate chips
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. Heat heavy cream for about 1-2 minutes or until hot.
2. Add chocolate to a separate bowl. Pour the hot heavy cream and vanilla extract. Let it sit for 1 minute for the chocolate to melt.
3. Then stir continuously until everything is smooth and well combined.

Assemble your cupcakes:

Dip the top part of the cupcakes in chocolate ganache and tap off the excess. Decorate them however you want and let them cool for a few minutes. You're ready to serve!
