Red Velvet Cookies Recipe

Valentines day is near and I couldn't wait any longer to make a dozen of these delicious red velvet cookies drizzled with white chocolate! So excited to share this recipe with you guys since red velvet is my all-time favorite flavor!

3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup softened butter
1 egg
1 tsp red food coloring
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt

1.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease cookie sheets.
2.) In a large bowl, mix brown sugar and softened butter until light and fluffy. Add egg, vanilla extract, and red food coloring then mix.
3.) In a separate bowl, sift all-purpose flour, baking soda, cocoa powder and salt. Mix then add to wet ingredients.
4.) Shape dough to desired cookie size.
5.) Bake for about 12-14 minutes. Just keep an eye on them.
6.) Decorate your cookies however you fancy. I drizzled melted white chocolates on my cookies and you can totally add sprinkles if you desire.
